Tim has the most charming laugh in the world, so cheerful and contagious that one day a rich and mysterious baron offers him an unusual deal - to exchange his laughter for the ability to win any, even impossible bet. The boy, delighted by the chance to get rich, agrees to this tempting offer, but soon realizes how terrible life is when you can't even smile...
