Responsibilities
• I. Medical Management and Oversight:
• Ensuring the highest quality and standards of medical care at international remote sites (including compliance with international protocols).
• Management, supervision and coordination of medical personnel (doctors, nurses, paramedics) working at remote sites.
• Development, implementation and regular review/update of Emergency Medical Response Plans.
• Analysis, reporting of medical incidents, injuries and occupational diseases and planning of preventive measures.
• Management and optimization of telemedicine and remote consultation processes.
• II. Clinical Responsibilities:
• Making expert clinical decisions in complex medical cases, especially when emergency and intensive care are required.
• Leading and coordinating medical evacuation (Medevac) processes to ensure safe and timely transportation of patients.
• Management of pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and supplies, determining replenishment needs and participating in the procurement process.
• III. Administrative and Operational Duties:
• Constant communication with the Site Management Team and international partners regarding medical risks and operational status.
• Budget management within the Medical Department.
• Evaluation and management of the performance of international medical contractors and service providers.
• Active participation in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) programs and support from a medical perspective.
• Preparation of necessary reports and documentation for direct management in English and Russian.
• IV. Personnel Development and Training:
• Organization of regular training and professional development programs for the medical team, especially in emergency procedures.
• Participation in the selection, adaptation and evaluation of new employees.
Requirements
• Education: Medical Doctor Diploma.
• Specialty/Residency: Emergency Medicine or Intensive Care/Critical Care.
• Experience in the specialty: At least 10 years of experience working in the specialty.
• International Project Management: At least 10 years of experience in medical management of remote sites on international projects (in a management position).
• Languages: Fluency in English and Russian is a must.

• Effective leadership and decision-making: Ability to be an authoritative leader in crisis situations, make quick, rational and solid decisions under high stress (especially given the specifics of emergency medicine).

• Delegation and supervision: Properly assigning responsibilities and constantly monitoring the quality of their performance.
