The young girl Louise Palfi can't believe her eyes when she sees her twin, the beautiful Lotta Kerner, at a summer camp.
The girls soon realize that they are twins and can't stop wondering what caused their parents to separate. So they decide to change clothes, change their hairstyles and figure it out for themselves. Lotta goes to her father in Vienna, and Louise goes to her mother in Munich.
This is where the fun and dramatic adventures of Louise and Lotta begin. The situation finally becomes tense when it turns out that her father is soon going to marry a young woman!
