The textbook is intended for high-level (B2-C1) students who want to fully and comprehensively study English grammar in order to be able to write and speak without errors in everyday, academic or business environments.
The book can be used both as a classroom textbook and as an individual, self-study resource.
The book is focused on grammar used in everyday American English, but also covers British-American differences and grammatical constructions used in formal English.
The textbook is in two parts - contains theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part consists of 16 chapters and covers English grammar in full, starting with tenses and ending with articles and prepositions. Each chapter presents diagrams that facilitate the visual perception of the material and make it easier to understand various grammatical constructions. The practical part of the textbook includes various types of grammar exercises, which are focused on in-depth understanding of grammar. In addition to the exercises, the book also presents electronic interactive quizzes, which you can access by scanning the QR code. After each answer, the quiz tells you why this answer is correct or incorrect. Such interactive quizzes allow you not only to check your knowledge, but also to repeat the material you have studied.
Through this book, you will travel, on the one hand, to the world of English grammar, and on the other hand, to the United States of America. Each chapter of the book is dedicated to one location in this country and is decorated with relevant photographs. Each chapter begins with a text that refers to this place and uses the grammatical constructions explained in the corresponding chapter. In the practical part of the textbook, you will also find exercises with texts and dialogues that are related to this specific location
