The Daniel Boone Model comes with digital controls, a meat probe, a peaked roof for standing chicken/large poultry/rib racks, a convenient tray with utensil hooks, solid rubber tires, and a venturi-style firebox for cyclone combustion. It also features Sense-Mate, a thermal sensor that constantly monitors the ambient temperature. When the weather gets colder, the sensor switches the grill to turbo mode, so you won't have to wait long for the grill to heat up! Other features include a positive pressure hopper fan to prevent burning, a “fan only” mode with automatic shut-off to blow ash out of the firebox after grilling is complete, a 27×16 (approx. 432 sq. ft.) footprint, and 13.5” of internal clearance. It weighs 152 lbs.
