Anti-vibration support for plasterboard partitions. It can be used in studio applications for recording or rehearsals, or wherever a floating wall is required.

Description

Vibro-WS anti-vibration supports are specially designed homogeneous rubber support systems for plasterboard partitions. The semi-cylindrical modulation at their base (WS.75 & 100) and the transverse holes (WS.50) provide the necessary space for the rubber to expand and therefore increase vibration isolation. The inclined flaps of the Vibro-WS cover the bolts attached to the base and prevent possible contact with the plasterboard.

The use of Vibro-WS in floating plasterboard partitions:

Reduces the transmission of flanking noise.
Stop thermal bridges and moisture build-up between damp floors and walls.
Installation

Vibro-WS anti-vibration supports for plasterboard partitions are mounted on metal floor or ceiling profiles (U-runners with a width of 50, 75 or 100 mm) using C-brackets, or can be installed as a single unit under the U-runner. They can be fixed to the profiles with bolts and expansion bolts on the floor or ceiling. Free spaces must be filled with sound-absorbing material (e.g. stone wool). Part or all of the side flaps of the Vibro-WS base can be easily cut off due to its cut-outs to use a smaller thickness (e.g. one plasterboard) than the length of the flap. Metal washers must also be used at all fixed points.
