Correlator LD20 HC combines high-quality engineering "Made in Germany" with the latest leak detection technology in pipelines or drinking water systems and can therefore be recommended as an ideal standard device for water suppliers and metering engineering service providers.

At the leakage points, the water escapes under pressure and thus creates a discharge sound that is transported by pipelines in both directions, where it is finally detected by highly sensitive sensors that can be installed in easily accessible places such as hydrants or valves.

Considering that the type of water pipe always affects sound propagation, all pipe materials and diameters can be specified in the LD20HC so that up to 20 pipe sections can be studied in just one measurement process.

The received signal is amplified and transmitted to the correlator via radio. The correlator allows applying up to 256 freely selectable filters to the signal.

Can also be used for acoustic leak and pipe detection

In addition, the LD20HC can be connected to various structural and ground sound microphones, such as the microphones available for the combined detector LD6000, such as the LD6000 BMW.

A leak determined by correlation can be checked using an underground sound microphone, but any other type of acoustic leak can also be detected and pipe located.

Thanks to a smart function (patent pending), important aspects are immediately visible: potential leakage points are shown as bar indicators and the highest level indicates leakage.
