Bonpet is a Slovak-made fire extinguisher. It is a hermetic glass ampoule, made of tram-safe glass and filled with a special liquid, which is 100% organic. Its composition includes ammonium chloride, urea, sodium silicate, calcined soda, alunite, ammonium sulfate.
When a fire center appears, where a bonpet is installed, the air temperature rises and the fire-fighting solution heats up to 90 degrees. The excess pressure created in it, the glass ampoule bursts, part of the liquid turns into a gaseous phase, and the extinguishing agent is sprayed onto the surface of the flammable center, which quickly and strongly cools the fire place. At the same time, Expulsion of oxygen from the combustion zone, as a result of which the fire is localized as quickly as possible.
